Self-Control
Ok, so, here’s the deal…let me just lay it all out on the table…
We ALL struggle with self-control. Period. No one’s exempt from this one. But, guess what, there’s hope! In fact, there’s more than hope!
When you and I hear the words “self-control” most of us think of how Webster’s dictionary defines having self-control as “denying one’s own desires”.
In this message Joe shares a definition of self-control that is much more encouraging. He teaches that the Greek definition of our English word self-control is “infused with power and strength“.
When most of us think about self-control, we think about our weaknesses…not about God’s power and strength flowing through us!
Listen to how Pastor Joe further explains this amazing resource and tool for worship. What a gift the Holy Spirit has given each of us…Self-Control.

Mr. Miller was my high school English teacher and one of my coaches… Mr. Miller was a former wrestler and Marine. We were good friends even outside of school. We played golf together. We played racketball together.
Sometimes we get busy doing so many different things; we began to feel like our life is spinning out of control!
If you have ever struggled to trust God (and if we are being honest with ourselves…who hasn’t at one point or another in our lives?!) than this message is a must-listen-to!
