Join us as we study Love, in the eleventh and final message in Pastor Joe’s series, “Surviving the Moral Maze”.

As always we hope you will be challenged, encouraged and blessed by the  power of God’s  Love this week!

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child!

Feliz Navidad, Gezur Krislinjden, and Sretan Bozic. That’s merry Christmas in Spanish, Albanian and Croatian. Thanks to your generosity, children around the world will be smiling when they receive their shoeboxes. Morningside sent a total of 146 shoeboxes to Operation Christmas Child. That easily beat our record of 130 two years ago and is a great example of partnering in mission work. Thanks to the 30-plus people who helped at the shoebox packing party Sunday night as well as the many more who brought shoeboxes, gifts, and prayed.

Challenge: Pray for your shoebox recipient from now through Christmas.

Honesty

Did you know that we see, hear and say 1,000 lies a week?!

Actually, no, that was a lie…but, the real number is worse…the truth is that we see, hear and say over 200 lies every day!

We have a real problem with honesty!   This problem of deciet, manipulation, exaggeration and fabrication has so overwhelmingly saturated our culture that we don’t even hesitate or balk at most of it.   Even in the church the truth can easily (and often) be bent, hidden or ignored…and we accept it!

Well, in this message Pastor Joe exposes a great variety of ways that we lie, or at best listen to lies…many of which we have become so used to we don’t even think of them as lying anymore.

We hope as you listen to this message you will be both challenged and encouraged.

Purity

An excellant message about Purity, Pastor Joe approaches this subject with wisdom and care.

A common mistake when many of us hear the word “purity” is to immediately assume the context of the discussion is going to focus solely on “sexual purity”.

However, in this message Pastor Joe reveals a number of areas that many of us may struggle with and not even realize that the core issue of our struggle is impurity!

You will be encouraged, challenged and set free by the truth in this message!
