During the time and culture that Jesus was born, if you were betrothed (engaged) and your wife-to-be was discovered to be pregnant…and it was not by you…it was not only grounds for divorce…she would be killed!

Well, the story of Jesus’ birth is not a new story…most of us know many of the details the  Gospels share.   But, have we really thought about the courage that the young man that God chose to raise Jesus must have had during this time?

Listen to this message as Pastor Joe brings to light some thought provoking images of this often overlooked figure in the Nativity story…the humble man with the staff standing in the background, behind the shepherds, the wise men, the angels, and Mary with her Baby…the father that God chose for His Son, Joseph.
