Memorial Day

On this Memorial Day we remember all of the men and women who have died fighting for our country, as well as, all of those who have fought and are still fighting.

We honor them for their courage, their servanthood, their dedication and their love for this great country!

For those of you who have served your country in the Armed Forces, we thank you!   Our hearts go out to you and your families!

To those who are currently enlisted and those overseas, we lift our prayers to our Heavenly Father, Who is watching over each one of you, wherever you may be.   We pray that He would give you strength in the inner man, that He would give you peace and comfort in the midst of battle, and that He would bring you home safely!   We love you all and thank you for your sacrifice!… Read the rest of this entry »

The PROBLEM Series #10 – Discouragement

Week ten in Pastor Joe’s 11-part series about PROBLEMS.

Everyone gets discouraged…   Things didn’t go as we hoped they could.   People don’t treat us the way we  wish they would.   We don’t act the way we know we should.   Life happens to everyone and everyone…sooner or later…gets discouraged.

In this message Pastor Joe points out through scripture that to have feelings of DISCOURAGEMENT (like it’s older cousin Depression) is not a sin, but they do get our focus off of the Truth and God and can eventually cause more serious problems.   Pastor Joe not only shows us how to recognize some  causes of discouragement, but also teaches us some cures for discouragement!… Read the rest of this entry »
