The PROBLEM Series #10 – Discouragement

posted in Sermons |

Week ten in Pastor Joe’s 11-part series about PROBLEMS.

Everyone gets discouraged…   Things didn’t go as we hoped they could.   People don’t treat us the way we  wish they would.   We don’t act the way we know we should.   Life happens to everyone and everyone…sooner or later…gets discouraged.

In this message Pastor Joe points out through scripture that to have feelings of DISCOURAGEMENT (like it’s older cousin Depression) is not a sin, but they do get our focus off of the Truth and God and can eventually cause more serious problems.   Pastor Joe not only shows us how to recognize some  causes of discouragement, but also teaches us some cures for discouragement!…

Next week  Pastor Joe interrupts this series to bring  a MOTHER’S DAY message.   Then in two weeks, on May 20th, he’ll finish this series with one final PROBLEM:  LONLINESS!   Be sure to come back and check it out!

Discouragement  - Pastor Joe brings a message of hope to all of us who find ourselves dealing with DISCOURAGEMENT.   This message was recorded  live on Sunday, May 6, 2007.   (Because of space issues, this message has been removed from the website.   However, if you would like a copy of this…or any other messages or full series, either  on an mp3 CD, a regular audio CD, or as an mp3 download, please  contact Pastor Tim.
