The PROBLEM Series #11 – Loneliness
Week eleven in Pastor Joe’s 11-part series about PROBLEMS.
We all get lonely sometimes. For many of us that may even be while we are surrounded by other people. Loneliness is not a physical state of being (such as, being alone in a room)…it is the feeling of sadness that comes when we don’t feel “connected” to others.
This feeling of loneliness can be an overwhelming force for some people, crushing us underneath its weight. For others it can feel more subtle and we dismiss its pain until it gradually grows big enough we can no longer ignore it…like the slow burn of the sun on our skin on a sunny day.
