Morningside Community Church

                I just returned from our State Family Camp.   It came on the heels of a 10-day vacation.   I was expecting an additional time of rest and relaxation at camp… which I didn’t get.   This was the first year of a revamped camp meeting.   Pretty much all had changed and I was in charge.   I seemed to be running from one place to another all weekend… making sure all things went according to schedule and trying to meet everyone’s needs.   I hadn’t expected to do that much… but I did.

                 I also hadn’t expected to hear God’s voice so clearly this weekend… but, I did.   Our speaker, John Newton, talked a lot about whose voice we were hearing when it came to decisions in our lives.   Was it the voice of our past… the voice of our experiences… the voice of our opinions… or was it truly God’s voice?
