Getting to know us…
As a congregation, we come from many faith backgrounds, but are affiliated with the Church of God of Anderson, Indiana. There is no formal membership in the Church of God. One only has to be forgiven of their sins–â€born again‗to be a member.
What we believe…
- We believe the Bible is the inerrant and infallible word of God, and is applicable to God’s people today.
- We believe that Jesus Christ is our resurrected Lord and Savior. It was through his virgin birth, life of love, and sacrificial death at Calvary that we are allowed to be reconciled with God.
- We believe that faith is an experience. A Christian not only knows Jesus’ teachings, but has, by a decision of the will, invited Christ to live in his/her life.
- We believe when you accept Jesus Christ as Savior, you are born into God’s church. You are a new creation in Christ (John 3:1-7; II Corinthians 5:17). Through the cross, you are a member of the Church of God.
Our Mission is…
To be a community of Christian love that brings souls to Christ—-by encouraging each other and putting faith in action.
This includes:
- Outreach — to Evangelize the lost
- Worship — to Exalt God
- Fellowship — to Encourage God’s family
- Discipleship — to Educate for maturity
- Service — to Equip for ministry
